Funding / Access support

I regularly work within fundraising across my varied roles and have experience of writing, co-writing and securing multiple successful applications. I also offer access support for artists applying for funding via Arts Council England.

ACE Access Support

To date I’ve worked with five artists/artist-led organisations to submit ACE Project Grant applications. For full transparency here are the outcomes:
1. 6k plus access – successful
2. 13k plus access – unsuccessful
3. £14+k plus access – successful
4. £22+k plus access – successful
5. £25+k plus access – successful

I don’t have a magic wand but I do know how to make the best case you can. I’m generally working on ACE PG applications for smaller amounts (£15k & under) – these are most likely to succeed in the current climate where success rates are very low (around 20%).

I have also worked on four DYCP applications with one being successful.

This VASW resource outlines how to get ready for access support and working with an access worker to help with writing ACE applications.

Thank you so much for ALL your hard work in helping me write this and for navigating me through the process. I would have given up so many times if it wasn’t for your persistent, calm encouragement – and strong conviction that it was a worthy proposal and good enough for ACE funding”
